When creating a special you must follow these steps:
Find the cruise you want to use as the parent in the CMS and click edit
Now click 'Copy to new draft' in the Publish panel
The cruise will now be a draft
You now change the post type to a Special
Click OK and then publish the special
You should notice in the left hand navigation in the CMS you are now in the 'Specials' section
